Preparing for the March 8 Referendums

Long before 2021 was in the rearview mirror, our staff were preparing for the first elections of 2022 -- assigning early voting locations and Election Day polling places, recruiting poll workers, creating the ballot, and more. All this effort was in preparation for the March 8 School District Millage Referendum and a County Charter Referendum. For those who want to get a head start on the voting process, a sample ballot can be viewed here.

I hope you will take a moment to watch the Election Ready video below for helpful information regarding the coming referendums. And remember to make SarasotaVotes.gov your election headquarters throughout 2022. You may also contact our office at 941.861.8619 with any election-related questions.
